Forwarding the “Academic Year 114 College Media Literacy Course Student Short-Form Video Competition Plan.” The submission deadline for this competition has been extended to Thursday, April 2, 2026. Your institution is kindly requested to assist in promoting the event and encouraging students to participate.
This notice is a continuation of the Ministry’s letter dated November 28, 2025 (Document No. Tai-Jiao-Ji-(3) No. 1142302831).
In light of the rapid rise of emerging media in recent years and the increasing risks of misinformation and disinformation during information dissemination, this competition is organized to cultivate media literacy competencies among college students. These competencies include the ability to seek and obtain information, evaluate and interpret information, and create and share content. The details of the competition are as follows:
(1) Eligibility: Currently enrolled students at colleges and universities in Taiwan (including graduating students) who have taken media literacy courses offered by their institutions or through inter-university programs, or who have participated in media literacy workshops or related activities.
(2) Submission Content: Participants are encouraged to produce short-form videos that reflect and internalize the concepts learned from media literacy courses. The goal is to strengthen students’ independent and critical thinking skills. The format of the video is unrestricted. Please refer to the attachment for detailed requirements regarding video length and file specifications.
(3) Submission Period: From now until 12:00 PM, Thursday, April 2, 2026. Applicants should submit the required registration materials and upload the video link via the following Google Form: https://forms.gle/83BKuaHC9GhuFxQ1A
