Eligibility

  • Open to currently enrolled master’s and doctoral students at TNUA.
  • Individual applications only.

Required Documents (Research Proposal):

  1. Research Proposal – Limited to 6,000 words (excluding Chinese and English abstracts and keywords).
  2. Application Form – Including 500-word abstract in both Chinese and English, along with keywords in both languages.
  3. Research Content – Should include research background, motivation, methodology, literature review, and expected outcomes.
  4. Supporting Documents – Including signed declaration and proof of enrollment.

Research Grant Scope:

  1. Review of TNUA’s history, current developments, and future prospects.
  2. Study of TNUA faculty, distinguished alumni, performances, creative works, research, teaching, arts festivals, and curatorial concepts.
  3. Exploration of TNUA’s role in international exchanges, national policies, performance environments, social practices, and global-local interactions.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Application documents (as attachments) must be submitted in both PDF and Word (or ODT) formats.
  2. Proposal Content must adhere to the TNUA Art Criticism submission format and must not include the applicant’s name to maintain anonymous review.
  3. Submit by March 31, Year 112 (Sunday) to tnuaology@gmail.com with the subject:
    “113 Beiyi Studies: Writing in Progress – [Department/Institute] / [Name]”.
