Call for Applications for the 112 Academic Year, 1st Semester Outstanding Teaching Assistant Selection. Please assist in disseminating this information.
In accordance with the TNUA Teaching Assistant Implementation Guidelines, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is responsible for organizing training and assessment for teaching assistants.
Teaching assistants primarily assist with teaching tasks such as preparing course materials, providing after-class tutoring, leading group discussions, demonstrating teaching activities, preparing teaching materials, assisting with assessments, setting up and maintaining course teaching platforms (including but not limited to Art Academy), recording teaching progress (text or video), and supporting other teaching and learning activities.
CTL conducts 3-4 teaching assistant training workshops per semester. The assessment is based on the instructor's specifications, including submission of an application form at the beginning of the semester, completing an online satisfaction survey mid-semester, and submitting an evaluation form at the end of the semester. 2 outstanding teaching assistants will be selected each semester, with Gold Award: NT$5,000 and a certificate, and Silver Award: NT$3,000 and a certificate.
