Submit for a Chance to Win!
A generous NT$100,000 scholarship (subject to tax deductions) is waiting for your application!


Eligibility:

  • Open to current Master's and Ph.D. students at the university.
  • Individual applications only.

Required Documents (Research Proposal):

  1. Research Proposal (Maximum 6,000 words, excluding abstract and keywords in both Chinese and English).
  2. Application Form with 500-word abstracts (in both Chinese and English) and keywords (in both Chinese and English).
  3. Research content should include background, motivation, research methods, literature review, and expected outcomes.
  4. Attach a declaration of intent and proof of enrollment.

Research Focus Areas:

  1. Review of TNUA's history, current development, and future outlook.
  2. Analysis and deconstruction of TNUA faculty, outstanding alumni, exhibitions, creation, research, teaching, art festivals, and curatorial concepts.
  3. Exploration of TNUA's international exchanges, national policies, exhibition environments, social practices, globalization, and localization.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Please complete the application form (attached) and send PDF and Word/ODT versions of the documents.
  2. Follow the TNUA "Art Criticism" formatting guidelines for the research proposal.
    • Do not include the applicant's name to maintain anonymous review.
  3. Submit your application by April 9, 112 (Sunday) to tnuaology@gmail.com with the email subject:
    "112 Beiyi Studies: Writing in Progress - [Institute/Name]".

Note:
According to regulations related to Mainland Chinese students studying at universities in Taiwan and income tax laws, students from Mainland China are not eligible to participate in this call for submissions. We apologize for any inconvenience.
