The Northern Regional Base of the Teaching Practice Research Program will hold workshops on July 25 and 30, 2025.

Subject: The Northern Regional Base of the Teaching Practice Research Program is pleased to announce that it will hold an Online Workshop on Gender Education and Teaching Practice on Friday, July 25, 2025, and an Online Workshop on Research Methods and Design on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. We sincerely invite your faculty members to register and actively participate.

Explanation:

  1. Our university is implementing the 2025 Teaching Practice Research Program – Northern Regional Base Project. Through actively organizing teacher professional development workshops, promoting inter-university faculty communities, and establishing a cross-university support system, this initiative aims to strengthen the network of faculty development, enhance teaching research capacity and teaching quality, and foster cross-institutional professional competencies.

  2. Workshop Information (1):
    (1) Topic: Gender Education and Teaching Practice
    (2) Speakers:

    • Ms. Pei-Chih Lan, Lecturer, Taiwan Gender Equity Education Association

    • Associate Professor Hsiu-Hua Shen, Institute of Sociology, National Tsing Hua University
      (3) Time: Friday, July 25, 2025, 09:30 – 12:00
      (4) Format: Google Meet online session
      (5) Certificate: A certificate of participation will be issued to attendees who complete the full session.

  3. Workshop Information (2):
    (1) Topic: Research Methods and Design: An Introductory Guide to Teaching Practice Research
    (2) Speaker: Associate Professor Chin-Fei Huang, Graduate Institute of Science and Environmental Education, National Kaohsiung Normal University
    (3) Time: Wednesday, July 30, 2025, 14:00 – 16:00
    (4) Format: Google Meet online session
    (5) Certificate: A certificate of participation will be issued to attendees who complete the full session.
