RA/TA Training and Teaching Enhancement Lecture – 2nd Semester of Academic Year 2024 (113-2) “AI-Generated Content at Risk? Guidelines for the Application of AI in Creation, Research, and Publication”
We are pleased to invite Mr. Lucien Lin, Legal Advisor at Juno Intellectual Property Office, to share essential guidelines for applying AI in creative and academic work. This lecture will explore how to safely use AI tools, the potential challenges surrounding copyright and academic ethics, and how to protect your own works and research outcomes.
Following the lecture, there will be an RA/TA Administrative Consultation Session, co-hosted by the Office of Research and Development and the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), to assist RAs and TAs with administrative questions.
This session is open to all faculty, staff, and students. All are welcome to join!
▍Speaker Introduction – Lucien Lin Legal Advisor at Juno Intellectual Property Office, Project Lead of CC Taiwan Mr. Lin specializes in tech and legal issues, with past experience at the Institute for Information Science, Academia Sinica (Free Software Foundry). He has conducted extensive research on public licensing models and has served as a consultant on open data for institutions such as the Executive Yuan, Examination Yuan, National Development Council, Ministry of Culture, and the National Palace Museum. He has also served as a policy advisor for public participation for the Taipei City Government.
