Since 2021, the National Taipei University of the Arts has been implementing the "Digital Innovation Interdisciplinary Micro-Program" as part of the university’s strategic development plan—"Integration of Art and Technology, Cultivating Cross-Disciplinary and Integrated Talent". Built on a solid foundation of traditional technical training, the program aims to develop digital intelligence and innovation skills. It seeks to create more teaching and learning resources for tech-art integration, enabling young art students to use programming languages to create and integrate cross-media and cross-disciplinary digital content.
Program Objective
This program starts from the "art" discipline, focusing on how students can utilize "digital" technology to develop creativity and foster "innovative" entrepreneurship through "cross-disciplinary" creative abilities. To equip students with essential future competencies in three areas—originality, collaboration, and technological proficiency—the curriculum combines interactivity, experimentation, and interdisciplinary features. Through foundational courses in information science and digital living, advanced programming and application courses, cross-disciplinary projects, and comprehensive capstone courses, the program aims to cultivate students' digital and cross-arts capabilities.
Target Audience
All undergraduate students from various colleges and departments within the university.
