◆ Annual Project Period: February 1, 2023 to January 3, 2024 (Full Project Period: February 1, 2023 to January 3, 2026)

◆ Project Overview:

Since 2021, the National Taipei University of the Arts has been implementing the "Digital Innovation Cross-Arts Micro-Credit Program", a key strategy in the university’s development plan—"Cross-disciplinary Art and Technology Integration, Cultivating Cross-disciplinary and Integrated Talent". Based on the strong foundation of traditional technical training, the program aims to cultivate digital intelligence and innovation abilities. It is designed to create more teaching and learning resources for technology and art, and to nurture young art students who can use programming languages to create and integrate cross-media, cross-disciplinary digital content.

In 2023, the "Digital Innovation Cross-Arts Advancement Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the Plan) was proposed, building upon the foundation of previous project implementations and program planning. The goal is to deepen course content, establish horizontal connections between teachers and courses, create a shared learning platform for students and teachers, and document learning processes. Additionally, the plan will organize lectures, workshops, and other activities based on course design and student learning outcomes. At the end of the semester, performances and forums will be held to assess students' learning achievements. Regular meetings will be held for teacher communities and project teams to review the implementation strategies of the plan and coordinate collaboration mechanisms between units.

In addition to the continuous deepening of internal courses and expanding horizontal collaboration, considering the unique employment prospects of our students, we will gradually introduce business and industry development models each year. This will be done in collaboration with our "Art Entrepreneurship Micro-Credit Program", matching students from both programs and encouraging them to commercialize their成果. The initiative will also expand external industry connections. We will encourage elite students to participate in programs like the Cultural Content Promotion Agency's "Future Content Prototype Development Support Program", shifting from the traditional approach of bringing industries and professionals into the school, to a model where students bring their work to the market. This will be the ultimate goal of program development.

◆ Project Goals:

  1. Integrate "Digital," "Innovation," and "Cross-Disciplinary"
  2. Enhance the Integration of Art and Technology
  3. Cultivate Elite Talent in Cross-Arts Innovation
